World Cup Betting: After 63 matches, tons of thrills, and countless numbers of spills, World Cup betting action concludes from South Africa on Sunday, as Holland and Spain battle it out to determine who will be the champion of the soccer world.

The Dutch are entering this match full of confidence after lighting up Uruguay 3-2 in a match that was truly not that close in the second half. From the 70th minute through the 73rd minute, Holland opened up from a match that was level at 1-1 to a dominating 3-1 score line.

F Wesley Sneijder scored the first of the two goals in that stretch, his fifth strike of this tournament. He currently sits atop the Golden Boot race heading into the last weekend of play.

F Arjen Robben was the other goal scorer, as he netted his second goal of the tournament to officially put the Uruguayans away.

Holland was ridiculed for a relatively easy trip to get to the quarterfinals of the World Cup. Truth be told, matches against Cameroon, Japan, Denmark, and Slovakia didn’t exactly make up a rough road, but since that point, taking down two South American sides, Brazil and Uruguay was very impressive.

The two goals conceded to the Uruguayans matched what the other four teams in this tournament were able to score in the first five fixtures of this tournament against La Oranje.

This will be Holland’s first trip to the World Cup finale. It will also be the first for Spain, who has carried the weight of Western Europe in its shoulders during this entire tournament.

Espana opened up the 2010 World Cup as the favorites to win it all, and now, it is a solid -170 choice to lift the hardware when the tournament ends on Sunday night at Soccer City Stadium.

The Spanish are led by F David Villa, who is level with Sneijder with five goals in this tournament. Villa had scored in four straight matches before the semifinal against Germany, but no one is going to complain about the way that La Roja made it to the finale.

The Germans made it a conscious effort not to get burned by Villa, and they did a fantastic job in the semifinal of doing so. However, it was D Carles Pujol who made the difference. His header off of a corner kick in the 73rd minute was the lone goal in the match, and it was the one that sent Spain to its first World Cup final.

The man to beat is going to be GK Iker Casillas, though. Casillas was absolutely unbeatable in net against Germany, and he has been a real force for La Roja during this entire tournament. He has only been beaten once since the opening match against Switzerland, and it is going to take a Herculean effort for Sneijder or any of the other Dutch attackers to be able to hit the back of the net on Sunday.
